Wake Up Right

  • Connecting in an Age of Isolation and Incivility (Audio)
As we enter the holiday season, we may feel the challenge of connecting in an age of isolation and incivility, the tension of awkward relationships, and the dread small talk around the table. It seems conversation is getting harder. Dr. Heather Holleman joined us on Wake Up Right and invited us to reimagine better conversations. We think this is a relevant conversation to share during this season because her book demonstrates how we can develop authentic community by changing our relational mindsets to become more curious, to believe the best about others, to express concern about their lives, and to share our own.
