Thousands of books line the shelves of the Good News Library. These books consist of the finest works released by Christian authors, from classics to brand new releases. Fiction, Bible study aids, reference, Christian living, marriage and parenting, biography, and children’s books are just a few of the many categories available. In addition to books, there are also hundreds of DVDs and audiobooks ready to be borrowed. With nearly 15,000 items in our library, there is something for every age and interest.
The Good News Library runs periodic reading challenges for kids, hosts author events, and continually adds new releases. We also offer a used book store with several hundred titles.

March 2026 – Books For A New Season
As the first hints of spring begin to brighten our days—bringing thoughts of hope, growth, and fresh beginnings—the Good News Library is celebrating with our Spring Reading Challenge. For every book a child reads through May 31, they can choose a spring shape, write their name on it, and watch as their bird, butterfly, flower, or bee becomes part of a growing display throughout the library. All reading counts, and one child will win a great prize! We love seeing our youngest readers grow!
In the meantime, we’ve added new books for our adult readers, and here are just a few:
A Deeper Well by Jill Eileen Smith
A longtime Library favorite, Smith brings Scripture to life with depth and authenticity. In this newest release, readers meet Nessa of Sychar. After multiple marriages and heartbreak, her life changes after an encounter with a Jewish rabbi at the well. It is a story of longing, loss, and the acceptance only God can provide.
Teach a Kid to Save by Stephen Day
Written for families, this practical guide helps children build healthy financial habits through an interactive “mini-economy.” Kids earn play money, manage spending, and can even start small businesses. Rooted in biblical principles of stewardship, it equips parents to teach wise habits at home.
Through Water and Stone by Karen Barnett
For readers who enjoy dual-timeline historical fiction, this third book in Karen’s beloved National Parks series is set in Zion National Park. It begins when a grieving park ranger and his wife discover an abandoned baby and explores faith and redemption. We also have books one and two in the series.
Tim Madeira’s interviews with both Stephen Day and Jill Eileen Smith can be found on our podcast, WRGN<<Rewind and on the new WRGN app! Stop by this March and discover books that can strengthen your faith, wisdom, and hope. The library is open weekdays from 9:00 – 4:30.
