We use four criteria for the music we play on WRGN.
1. The lyrics must be honoring to God.
2. The music must be technically excellent.
3. The music must be professionally produced.
4. The music must fit our format.
Our Program Director will review the music and make a determination. Please include contact details as well as basic info on yourself and your music. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of submissions we will not be able to respond to each one.
All submissions must be high quality MP3 or WAV file types in separate emails, or by mailing a CD or Flash Drive to:
WRGN
2457 S.R. 118
Hunlock Creek, PA 18621
You must own the full rights to any song that you submit and must be able to prove ownership. No reviews or critiques of submitted music will be made available. Submissions received by WRGN will not be returned; by submitting music you affirm that you authorize WRGN to air your music if the station chooses to do so.
Submission of music does not guarantee airplay. While we do play independent artists, not all music submitted from independent OR national artists get airplay on WRGN.
AI Music policy
At this time, WRGN is embracing a “No AI” (artificial intelligence) music policy for our playlist.
This means we will not currently add fully AI-generated music to our playlist.
1. All songs added to the playlist must feature a primary performance (vocals and instrumentation) and composition rooted in human authorship. We view worship as a testimony of the soul, not an algorithm. John 4:24
2. Prohibited Content: Fully Generative AI: Tracks where the melody, lyrics, and/or vocals were generated entirely by a model (e.g., Suno, Udio) via text prompts, without significant human performance or composition.
3.Permitted Content: AI-Assisted Production: Works conceived and performed by humans that utilize AI tools strictly for technical enhancement (e.g., mixing, mastering, stem separation, or pitch correction) are allowed, provided the human artistic contribution remains dominant.
4. Verification: Submitting artists must warrant that the work is eligible for copyright protection as a human creation. The station reserves the right to request ‘stems’ (individual raw tracks) to verify human performance if a track is suspected of being synthetic. Currently, the U.S. Copyright Office generally denies copyright protection to fully AI-generated works.
Please keep in mind that there are many ways God can use your talents, and many avenues to get your music out, including concerts (add them to our upcoming events), your local church, and digital means (YouTube, Spotify, etc.) and we encourage you to take advantage of all of them!
