From Us To You – April 2026

It seems like it has been a wacky weather year here in Northeastern Pennsylvania! When our team from WRGN left last month for Share-A-Thon at our sister station, WIVH, it was beautiful here, with temperatures near 70 degrees. We returned home to high winds, below-freezing temperatures, and blowing snow. In fact, our return flight felt like a wild roller coaster ride at times. The passengers actually applauded when we finally landed in Charlotte!

It brought to mind how much faith and trust we put in the pilot, and also made me think about that bumper sticker that says, “God is my co-pilot.” I realized though, that if God is only my co-pilot, I’m still the one trying to hold onto the controls.

In the wacky weather of our own lives—those seasons where the forecast seems to change from sunshine to snow in a heartbeat—having God in the passenger seat isn’t enough. We need Him in the captain’s chair. When the winds of life pick up and we feel like we’re on a spiritual roller coaster, our peace doesn’t come from a smooth ride; it comes from knowing Who is navigating the storm.

At WRGN, our mission is to remind you daily that even when the landing looks bumpy, the Pilot of our souls has never lost a flight. Your support helps us keep this message of hope on the airwaves across Northeastern PA. Together, we can point our community toward the only One who can truly calm the wind and the waves (Mark 4:39).
