Heritage Baptist Church welcomes you to join a 3-day bus trip to Washington, D.C.!
The featured event is the Museum of the Bible, the most technologically advanced and engaging museum in the world. This museum has incredible interactive experiences about the Bible. Our price also includes the Washington Revelations (flying theater) and the Virtual Reality Tour of Israel. You will be “wowed” by this amazing one-of-a-kind museum.
The other four major attractions we will visit include:
- The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
- Arlington National Cemetery and the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Solder.
- The Monuments and Memorials
- The Steven Udvar-Hazy Center Air & Space Museum in Chantilly, VA, housing some of the largest and most impressive aircrafts ever made.
The $525 price of the three-day trip includes:
- Bus Transportation
- Chartered tram ride
- Admission fees
- Gratuity for bus driver
- Two nights’ lodging
- Two breakfasts
- Three dinners
- Water, candy, and snacks
- Taxes and tips on all meals
Not included: bag lunch, lunch at the museum, any tips one desires to give for housekeeper at motel.
Although the focus is on the senior adults (ages sixty and older), younger adults are welcome, and children if a parent or grandparent accompanies them. Heritage Baptist Church in Clarks Summit is the sponsoring church, but friends, relatives, and other churches are invited. Tour hosts Craig and Shirley Golden, who head up the senior ministry at Heritage, welcome all to fill the bus with fifty-six passengers.
