A Service of Lessons and Carols

The First United Methodist Church of Shickshinny will hold its sixteenth annual Service of Lessons and Carols at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023. The service consists of Christmas-related scripture readings alternating with choral music and congregational singing of Christmas carols. The choral music will be provided by the Shickshinny Area Community Choir under the direction of Raphael Micca with the Chancel Choir of Berwick’s First Reformed United Church of Christ under the direction of Cindy Rupp. There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be taken to support the choir and the church. There will be a reception in the church social hall following the concert.
