Share-A-Thon 2023

Inspired by the joy-filled anthem “I Thank God,” we’re celebrating God’s goodness this fall! We thank God for salvation, our hope and future through Jesus Christ! We thank Him for giving us the ministry of reconciliation and the opportunity to share the good news of the gospel through Christian radio! We thank Him for His faithfulness during our nearly 40 years of ministry! Indeed, it is our joy to “proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9), which is exactly what the song “I Thank God” is all about–and why we chose it for our theme song for our 2023 Share-A-Thon!

Has God picked you up, turned you around, and placed your feet on solid ground? Has WRGN played a part in your story? Then here are two ways that you can share the good news of what God has done in your life with others:

We regularly hear about the ways that WRGN blesses our listeners in their cars, homes, and offices, encouraging and equipping them with Bible teaching, parenting tips, and wisdom for living in a post-Christian culture. We know that on a daily basis, the right song plays at the right time, the perfect Bible verse is mentioned, or even a much-needed moment of laughter is shared. We know that there are challenges in your life, and that’s why we are here, so that no matter where you are or what time of day it is, you can find the truth and encouragement from God’s Word that you need to live a vibrant, abundant, peace-filled life.

But we’re not just here for you. There are thousands of people in our listening area who still need to hear and respond to the gospel. Because of the ministry of WRGN, people are being reached with the good news of Jesus Christ through a radio program as they scan the dial in their car, read a Facebook post, hear a podcast episode, or attend a concert or ministry event. Your support during Share-A-Thon is not just to continue the ministry of WRGN for your own sake, but as an important missional tool in our community. When Joann, a listener from Noxen, PA, made her Share-A-Thon donation last October, she told us to “keep up the good work, because time is short and people need to hear the gospel!” We agree, and you can help us make sure that as many people as possible hear the gospel in the coming year. As our theme song declares, “From now until I walk the streets of gold, I’ll sing of how you saved my soul!”

As we approach Share-A-Thon, we are filled with excitement and joy as we thank God for the work that He has done in our lives both individually and collectively as the body of Christ.
