New Music Report – June 2025

The calendar has turned to a new month at WRGN, and we’ve got more new music to share with you as you tune in this June!

Brandon Heath is serving up a new treat for us with his latest, “Highly Favored.” This song (featuring Ryan Ellis) is a wonderful reminder of who we are in Christ Jesus. Get ready to tap your feet and sing along!

After hitting #1 with her song “Still Waters (Psalm 23),” Leanna Crawford returns with her newest single called “Honest.” Once again, she draws from the psalms (Ps. 34:18) for the inspiration behind this song. We know we can come to God with our pain, doubts, and the things we try to hide from those around us…we need to remember that He is always near.

Jaime Jamgochian and Selah have paired up to bring us “Our Father.” The chorus incorporates the Lord’s Prayer (Matt. 6), and encourages us to go to Him, especially when we don’t necessarily feel like He’s there.

In Luke 15:4-7, Jesus tells the parable of the lost sheep, where we learn of the joy in heaven that is expressed over one sinner who repents. Mac Powell sings about when we were rescued by God in his newest single, “The 99.”
