Forty-three books.
That’s how many books Selah Belles read during the Good News Library’s Spring Reading Challenge—and what an accomplishment that is! Over three months, Selah explored story after story and earned the title of this year’s Spring Reading Challenge winner.
Selah’s prize basket included books, audiobooks, creative activities, and special gifts provided by generous partners, including Jersey Mike’s, the ARK Encounter, and SKYZONE.
While one reading challenge has come to a close, another summer adventure is just getting started.
The Great Summer Reading Adventure is underway through August 31, and children of all ages are invited to join in!
Kids can participate in the Reading Road Trip by adding a category-themed shape to our library window for every book they read all summer long. Or, take part in the Passport Adventure by reading across different categories and collecting stamps. Complete 12 of the 16 categories and earn a $10 gift card to The Lands at Hillside Farms. Our windows are ready. The passports are waiting. We can’t wait to see where this summer’s reading adventures lead!
One great place for kids to start their adventure is with The Unlikely Intrusion of Adams Klein by John Greco.
