From Us to You – February 2026

“Be ready always!” That phrase from 1 Peter 3:15 is good advice! Last month, on a road trip, we had a tire blowout an hour into the trip in the pitch black. A quick call to the tow company and we were told it would be over an hour before they would even arrive. Fortunately, I had everything I needed to make a tire change myself and get us back on the road without adding too much extra time to what was already going to be a long trip.

While being prepared for a road trip can be important, this is not the preparation being talked about in 1 Peter 3. Instead, we are being instructed to recognize and prioritize God as first in our lives in the first part of the verse, and then be ready to tell people WHY he is trustworthy in the second part of the verse. I think the progression of the verse implies that people SHOULD see we are different, and ask why. And we need to be ready with an answer!

The programming here on WRGN is also different! Yes, we have music just like other stations, but it’s music that focuses our heart and mind on Christ. Yes, we have news, but it is from a worldview that recognizes Christ as King. Yes, we have talk, but it is talk that glorifies God and builds you up in faith. What we don’t have is commercials! We rely on those of you who are encouraged by what you hear to support the ministry. You are the ones who helped us equip those who listen with the teaching that actually helps us “be ready always!”

We are grateful for each of you who have made the commitment to help us do this for another year. We couldn’t do it without you!
