Service of Lessons and Carols

The First United Methodist Church of Shickshinny will hold its eighteenth annual Service of Lessons and Carols at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2025. The service consists of Christmas-related scripture readings alternating with choral music and congregational singing of Christmas carols. The choral music will be provided by the Shickshinny Area Community Choir under the direction of co-director Cindy Rupp.
There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be taken to support the choir and the church.
There will be a reception in the church social hall following the concert.
The church is located at the corner of Rt. 11 and Butler St. in Shickshinny.
