In his message “What If There Had Been No Easter?” Dr. Adrian Rogers unpacks 1 Corinthians 15:12-19 where we have a tragic account of our lives without Jesus—a picture of what our lives would be if there had been no Easter. This is the Gospel: Jesus Christ died for our sins; He was buried and rose again on the third day. But what if death had conquered—what if Jesus had stayed in the tomb?

9:00 PM
Love Worth Finding with Dr. Adrian Rogers

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a known fact that we fully believe as Christians. However, in the days following this miracle, some of the disciples were struggling to believe it. Luke 24 tells of two disciples on the road to Emmaus, who came face-to-face with Jesus Christ Himself, the week after Easter. Join Dr. Rogers in this message entitled “The Week After Easter” as he explores this passage and the ways that the disciples’ encounter with Jesus sealed their belief in His resurrection.

We hope you enjoy these special Easter programs on WRGN as you celebrate Holy Week and the victorious resurrection of Christ our Savior!

Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.
Matthew 28:1-6
