Please Pray With Us

PRAISE: WRGN listeners continue to make their pledge to meeting the operating costs the station will face in the year 2010. Pray that this will continue until the Shar-A-Thon goal is reached.

PRAISE: WRGN ‘s new “Press and Listen Project,” designed for the vision impaired is yet another outreach ministry in which WRGN listeners may become involved. Pray that both the sightless and those preferring to listen to Shirl Updyke’s new book, “Vision to Realty,” may be blessed by listeners’ involvement in making the book available to them.

PRAY: as management works to keep the ministries here operating well. Changes recently required the temporary moving of the Tunhkannock translator frequency. Many changes in the future will be made as WIVH’s primary frequency and location of the transmitter will be changed. Pray for wisdom, strength and possible volunteers to help with this gigantic project.

PRAISE: God for a wonderful past year of ministry at WRGN and WIVH. Listeners’ support was sufficient to keep the stations broadcasting a state-of-art operation using the newest radio technology, all for God’s glory.

PRAY: as the staff at WRGN and WIVH move into a New Year desirous of honoring God in all they do and say. Those on-air are very concerned that every word they utter be to God’s glory. Keeping abreast of the newest in radio technology presents a challenge to the engineering staff here. Pray for wisdom for them.

PRAY: for the broadcasters heard daily. Many of them are pastors and teachers who work under a full load of daily ministry. Thank God for their hearts’ desire is to teach listeners how to live lives pleasing to God and to reach souls with the Gospel message. Pray for Dr. James Dobson who is leaving Focus On The Family, but has expressed a desire to continue radio ministry to the family.

PRAISE: the number of items in The Good News Library grows daily and the value of the information there makes the library of great worth. Pray that more people will take advantage of the service it provides, giving the public materials that are not questionable, but God honoring.

PRAY: for Mary Bodek and Mary Ann Lipinski, who faithfully serve to keep the library operating smoothly.

PRAY: for Jon and Tiff Bowman serving as operators of WIVH in the Virgin Island. They recently expressed thankfulness for the love shown to them by listeners in the states who remembered them with gifts and cards. They raised their support to serve here. Pray that their supporters will remain faithful.

PRAY: as they strive to keep WIVH operating. They have recently faced many technical problems. These seem to be cyclical. Praise God for how He provides volunteers coming to their aid.

PRAY: for WIVH listeners. They write to say how much WIVH is a blessing to them. Many say the broadcasts are drawing them back to God.

PRAISE: “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things,” Colossians 3:2. This new year, strive to put heaven’s priorities in daily practice, look at life from God’s perspective and seek what He desires.
