Here At The Studios

The month of March has been a busy, but exciting month at WRGN studios. Julius Lenhart, of Slatington, blessed us with his appearance as he entered the studios, carrying his keyboard. His love for the Lord was evident through his willingness to share his music and his testimony, anywhere. Through WRGN’s website, you may connect with You Tube and see him being
interviewed at WRGN.

Imagine our delight when a caller on “Shirl and You” said he was from Christiansted, St. Croix, and had been listening to WIVH since he was nine years old. He wanted to remain anonymous. However, he did tell us that he was not a Christian, but loves the station. He is just one example of how God is working through Christian radio to reach souls for Him.

The e-mail coming in daily to the station is as welcome as our mail man is. We recently heard from Youth For Christ’s, Wayne Morgan, who is looking for service projects the youth can accomplish in April. Was there something they could help with at the station? Indeed there is!!

Another e-mail from Darlene Pearson encourages WRGN listeners to see the DVD about St. Croix missionary station, WIVH. This DVD is free to anyone asking for it.

What do listeners do when subjects such as taxes, health care, etc. seem overbearing? Jeanette Vitz, of Nanticoke, takes a walk with her son’s dog, “Flash.” She loves WRGN.

We heard from many new listeners this month. It was obvious that Jean Alaniz, of Wyoming, listens faithfully as she talked of loving “Shirl and You.” She comes to work
with Jonathan Broscious on “Drive Time,” hears Tim Madeira, on “Afternoon Music,” and everything in between.

James Scott, of Pittston, found his church through WRGN as he listened to Pastor James Breese of First Baptist Of Pittston, read scripture on the station.

The thought occurs to us that perhaps there is someone in Pittston who can help Colleen Bronson, find WRGN on her radio. She is sightless, is in a group home in Pittston and says she cannot receive the signal.

WRGN Famous Giveaway gift, an Unshackled CD, brought many comments from listeners who love the program. Tony Beaubry, Scranton, called with a wonderful testimony of how God rescued him from a life of sin. He said his story will be featured on the Unshackled program.

Cindy Lohman, Sweet Valley, encouraged Barb Saxe and Sharon Cease to get going on WRGN’s Yard Sale. Cindy’s already done her sorting of unwanted items and boxed them for the sale. It’s the first Saturday in June. So its time for everyone to do the same.
