New At The Library(March 2010)

Hundreds of new DVD’s have arrived at the Good News Library. A good number of them are produced for children and are a tremendous blessing in helping them learn to know God better.

“Career Moves” is the title of a new book that helps readers develop the mind-set, knowledge, and skills they need to face today’s challenges and workplace realities.

What role should religious citizens take in a liberal democracy? What is the proper separation of church and state? What place should be made for natural rights and the moral law within a secular state? These questions and many more are answered in the book, “Politics For Christians.”

The book, “When Heaven Comes Down,” helps readers experience God’s glory in their lives. Though to many these miraculous experiences seem few and far between, they don’t have to be.

A new DVD entitled, “Three Easter Classics,” features three Easter movies that help children learn an important lesson about hope in Jesus.

“First Ladies of the White House,” examines the first ladies’ backgrounds, their relationships with the presidents, and the social issues that they championed.

For stories that children live and grow by, check out The Good News Library’s animated “Children’s Heroes of the Bible Series.” It‘s a wonderful way to introduce children to the stories in the Old Testament.

“Tea With Hezbollah,” is a must read for all who see the looming threat rising in the Middle East. Author, Ted Dekker and Middle East Expert, Carl Medearis, take the reader on a hair raising journey and gives a fresh understanding of those we call our enemies.

The remarkable story of William and Catherine Booth and the Salvation Army is told in the DVD, “Our People.”
